Valorant yaw: 0.07°/count. Conversion uses true yaw matching per game.
What is Valorant Sensitivity Converter?
This converter translates your sensitivity from another FPS game into the equivalent Valorant sensitivity. Each game has a different yaw value (degrees turned per mouse count), so the same number in two games results in completely different physical feel. This tool uses true yaw matching so the physical mouse movement for a 360-degree turn is identical in both games.
How to use
- 1 Select your source game from the Source Game dropdown.
- 2 Enter your sensitivity in that game in the Sensitivity field.
- 3 Optionally enter your mouse DPI to also see your eDPI and cm/360 values.
- 4 Your equivalent Valorant sensitivity appears instantly in the result box.
- 5 Copy the result into your Valorant settings under Mouse Sensitivity.
Formula
Example calculation
Converting CS2 sensitivity of 2.0 at 800 DPI: CS2 yaw = 0.022, Valorant yaw = 0.07. Valorant sens = 2.0 x (0.022 / 0.07) = 0.629. Both settings produce the same physical cm/360 movement.
Frequently asked questions
Why does CS2 sensitivity not equal Valorant sensitivity?
CS2 uses a yaw of 0.022 degrees per mouse count while Valorant uses 0.07 degrees per count. This means CS2 sensitivity numbers are much lower for the same physical feel. The converter multiplies by the ratio of the two yaw values to give you the equivalent setting.
What games are supported by this converter?
This converter supports CS2 and CS:GO, Overwatch 2, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty Warzone, and Rust. Each uses a known yaw value for accurate conversion.
Is the conversion exact?
The conversion is exact for games where a reliable yaw value is publicly known. Some games like Fortnite use approximate yaw values due to non-linear sensitivity scaling at certain settings. For those, the result is a close approximation.
Does converting sensitivity affect my muscle memory?
Converting to the correct equivalent sensitivity means the physical mouse movement for the same action is identical. Your muscle memory should transfer directly. You may still need a short adjustment period due to differences in game feel, FOV, and animation.
What is yaw in FPS games?
Yaw is the number of degrees your view rotates per mouse count (one count = 1/DPI of an inch). A lower yaw value means you need more mouse movement to rotate the same amount. Valorant uses 0.07 degrees per count.
