What is CS2 Sensitivity Converter?
This tool converts your CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) mouse sensitivity into equivalent values for other popular FPS games. Each game uses a different yaw value — the degrees your view rotates per mouse count — so the same number means completely different physical feel across games. This converter uses true yaw matching so your physical cm/360 is identical in every game.
How to use
- 1 Enter your CS2 sensitivity value (e.g. 1.5 or 2.0).
- 2 Enter your mouse DPI (e.g. 800).
- 3 All converted sensitivities appear instantly in the table below.
- 4 Copy the value for whichever game you want to play next.
- 5 Your muscle memory will transfer because the physical mouse distance per 360° turn is the same.
Formula
Example calculation
CS2 sensitivity 2.0 at 800 DPI: cm/360 = (360 / (0.022 × 2.0 × 800)) × 2.54 = 25.97 cm. Valorant equivalent = (0.022 × 2.0) / 0.07 = 0.6286. Both give the same 25.97 cm/360.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my Valorant sensitivity so much higher than CS2?
CS2 uses a yaw of 0.022 °/count while Valorant uses 0.07 °/count. Because Valorant's yaw is ~3.18× higher, you need a ~3.18× higher sensitivity number in Valorant to get the same physical feel.
What DPI should I enter?
Enter the DPI your mouse is currently set to. Most competitive players use 400–1600 DPI. The converted sensitivity values are accurate regardless of DPI, but the cm/360 display depends on DPI.
Is the Fortnite conversion exact?
Fortnite uses a non-linear sensitivity scale. The yaw value of 0.5573 is accurate at 1.0 sensitivity and standard 800 DPI, but may be slightly off at extreme values. Treat it as a close starting point.
Does this work for CS:GO as well?
Yes. CS:GO and CS2 use the same yaw value of 0.022, so your sensitivity is identical between the two games and this converter applies to both.
What is eDPI?
eDPI (effective DPI) = sensitivity × DPI. It is a single number that represents your overall sensitivity independent of which combination of sens and DPI you use. For CS2, most pros use an eDPI between 400 and 1000.
