Fortnite Sensitivity Converter

Convert your Fortnite X-axis sensitivity to Valorant, CS2, Apex Legends, and Overwatch 2. Get your cm/360 for Fortnite instantly.

Fortnite yaw: ≈0.5573 °/count at 1.0 sens. Conversion is approximate near extreme values.

What is Fortnite Sensitivity Converter?

This tool converts your Fortnite X-axis (horizontal) mouse sensitivity into equivalent values for other popular FPS games. Fortnite uses a non-standard sensitivity scale with a yaw of approximately 0.5573 °/count at 1.0 sensitivity. The converter applies the correct yaw ratio so your physical cm/360 is preserved across every game.

How to use

  1. 1 Enter your Fortnite X-axis sensitivity (found in Settings → Mouse).
  2. 2 Enter your mouse DPI.
  3. 3 All converted sensitivities appear instantly in the table.
  4. 4 Copy the result into your target game's sensitivity setting.
  5. 5 Your physical mouse movement per full 360° turn stays the same.

Formula

Target Sensitivity = (Fortnite Yaw × Fortnite Sensitivity) / Target Game Yaw. Fortnite yaw ≈ 0.5573 °/count at 1.0 sens. cm/360 = (360 / (yaw × sens × DPI)) × 2.54.

Example calculation

Fortnite sensitivity 0.10 at 800 DPI: cm/360 = (360 / (0.5573 × 0.10 × 800)) × 2.54 = 20.38 cm. CS2 equivalent = (0.5573 × 0.10) / 0.022 = 2.533.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Fortnite sensitivity look so different from other games?

Fortnite uses a much higher yaw value (~0.5573) compared to CS2 (0.022) or Valorant (0.07). This means Fortnite sensitivity numbers are much smaller for the same physical feel. A Fortnite sens of 0.10 feels similar to a CS2 sens of ~2.5.

Should I use X-axis or Y-axis sensitivity?

This converter uses X-axis (horizontal) sensitivity, which controls left-right turning. Most players set X and Y to the same value. If yours differ, convert X-axis for yaw and use the same ratio for Y-axis.

Is the conversion exact?

Fortnite's sensitivity scale is non-linear at extreme values. The yaw of 0.5573 is accurate near 1.0 sens at standard DPI. For most competitive sensitivity ranges (0.05–0.20) the conversion is very close. Fine-tune in a creative map after converting.

What Fortnite sensitivity do pros use?

Most Fortnite pros use an X-axis sensitivity between 0.06 and 0.15 at 800 DPI, giving an eDPI range of roughly 48–120. Lower values give more precision for building and editing.

Does this converter handle ADS sensitivity?

This converter handles hipfire (X-axis) sensitivity only. Fortnite's ADS multiplier is a separate setting. Set it to 1.0 for matching hipfire feel, or adjust based on preference.
